Privacy Policy

1Who we are

Goods for the Study UWS runs this website and is the business responsible for the personal data it collects. The shop trades from 2105 Broadway, New York, NY 10023, United States. Anything on this page can be raised at help@paperandstudy.shop or on +1 212-274-1184.

2What we collect

Goods for the Study UWS collects what an order for notebooks, planners and desk gear actually requires, and what the site needs in order to function:

  • Your name, the delivery and billing addresses, an email address and a telephone number, so a notebooks, planners and desk gear order can be despatched from New York and queried afterwards.
  • The contents of your basket and your order history with Goods for the Study UWS.
  • Technical information your browser supplies on its own: IP address, browser type and which pages of this site were opened.
  • Whatever you choose to write in a message to help@paperandstudy.shop or in the contact form.

Goods for the Study UWS never receives or stores a full card number. They are captured by the payment provider on its own systems and never reach Goods for the Study UWS.

3Why we use it

  • To pick, pack and send your notebooks, planners and desk gear order, and to refund it where that becomes necessary.
  • To answer a question about an order, or about a product on the Goods for the Study UWS shelf.
  • To meet the accounting and tax obligations Goods for the Study UWS carries as a New York business.
  • To keep this site running and protected against misuse.

Goods for the Study UWS does not sell personal data and does not pass it to anyone else so that they can market to you.

4Who we share it with

Only those who have to be involved for a notebooks, planners and desk gear order to reach you: the payment provider that takes the transaction, the carrier that moves the parcel out of New York, and the hosting company that keeps this site online. Each of those receives only what its part of getting notebooks, planners and desk gear to you requires, and none may use it for its own ends.

5Cookies

Cookies set by this site keep your basket, your session and your display preferences working while you browse Goods for the Study UWS. Where analytics cookies are in use they report which pages get opened and are not tied to your name. Your browser can block or clear them, but the basket and checkout depend on the essential ones and will stop working without them.

6How long we keep it

Order records stay on file for as long as the tax and accounting rules that apply to Goods for the Study UWS require. Messages sent to help@paperandstudy.shop are held while the query is open and for a sensible period after it closes. Anything that no longer serves either purpose is deleted.

7Your choices

You may ask Goods for the Study UWS what it holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased where we are not obliged to keep it. Write to help@paperandstudy.shop and we will answer within one business day. Any marketing email we send from Goods for the Study UWS carries an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately.

8Children

This shop sells notebooks, planners and desk gear to adults and the site is not intended for children under 13. Goods for the Study UWS does not knowingly collect their data, and if you believe a child has supplied any, help@paperandstudy.shop will reach us and we will remove it.
